Yesterday, members of the Sandy Springs Police Department Honor Guard traveled to Bowling Green, Kentucky, to stand alongside fellow law enforcement officers from across the country in honoring Kentucky State Police Trooper Hayden Phillips.

Trooper Phillips made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty on September 28, 2026. His dedication to serving and protecting others will not be forgotten.

It was an honor for the Sandy Springs Police Department to stand with the Kentucky State Police and Trooper Phillips’ family, friends, colleagues, and community as they gathered to celebrate his life and honor his service.

Our deepest condolences go out to everyone who knew and loved Trooper Phillips, as well as the entire Kentucky State Police family. May his service, courage, and sacrifice never be forgotten.
