🚨WANTED SUSPECT ARRESTED AFTER PURSUIT🚨

On Friday, June 12, Sandy Springs Police officers arrested Shane Farley, who was WANTED by Fulton County on a warrant related to an Aggravated Stalking case, after he fled from officers during an attempted traffic stop.

Farley led officers on a vehicle pursuit through the area, reaching speeds exceeding 95 mph and driving recklessly, endangering other motorists and the public.

The pursuit was brought to an end when officers conducted a (PIT) maneuver, allowing Farley to be taken into custody. He was transported for medical evaluation before being booked into the Fulton County Jail.

In addition to the outstanding warrant, Farley faces charges including Felony Fleeing and Attempting to Elude, Reckless Driving, Failure to Maintain Lane, Improper Use of Turn Signals, and other related traffic offenses.

Anyone with additional information regarding Farley or any related incidents is encouraged to contact the Sandy Springs Police Department.

🚔🏅 Yesterday, we had several officers proudly representing Sandy Springs Police Department in the Georgia Police & Fire Games! Our team competed in the Pistol Match and Marksman Competition, showcasing their skill, dedication, and professionalism.

💪 Today, the competition continues with the Toughest Cop Challenge, where Officer Gordon earned an impressive 3rd Place finish! 🥉 Our 4-man golf team is also still on the course competing.

We are thrilled to have SSPD officers taking part in these events and representing our department and community with pride. Great work to everyone involved, and good luck to those still competing! ⛳🚓👏
