This summer, Sergeant Dallas Stadick carried the torch for all of Minnesota law enforcement in the 2026 Special Olympics Minnesota Law Enforcement Torch Run. Along the way, he formed unforgettable bonds, especially with athlete Justin Tate, who touched his heart in a way he’ll never forget. The experience changed him forever. 👟💙

Karaoke, water balloons, yard games, and Savage Trivia were just the beginning of the fun at this year’s Night to Unite parties! 🎉

Our Savage Police Department, Savage Fire Department- Minnesota, Council & Commission members, and City staff visited 47 parties throughout Savage on August 4. We spent the evening connecting with residents, sharing some laughs, and enjoying the community spirit that makes Night to Unite such a special event.

We'd like to give a special shout-out to JonnyPops, who donated treats for our parties to enjoy. Thank you!

Night to Unite continues to be a favorite every year, and somehow, it just keeps getting better! We’re already looking forward to next year. 😊

Last weekend, Officer Alex Casey found himself on a call that required calm judgment and quick action - facing down an aggressive, unpredictable suspect that refused every command. Officer Casey stepped in, closed the gap, and safely took the feisty fugitive - now known as “Cluck Norris” - into custody. Thanks to his professionalism and steady composure, no one was injured and the streets (and backyards) of Savage are just a little safer today.
