Congratulations to our Fallen 5-0 Chopper Raffle winner, Troy Berry! This year’s grand prize was truly one of a kind — a custom-built chopper expertly crafted by Micky “Coot” Brower and generously donated by John Long.

The story behind our winner makes this moment even more meaningful. Troy is the son of Sgt. Wilbur Berry of the Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office, the first fallen first responder whose family was served by the 200 Club of the Coastal Empire. Sgt. Berry was killed in the line of duty on May 19, 2001, after 20 years of service with the Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office. He is remembered for his dedication to his community, his compassion for others and the mentorship he provided to younger deputies.

More than 25 years later, the connection between the Berry family and the 200 Club is a powerful reminder of why our mission continues. Every raffle ticket purchased helps us stand behind the families of fallen and injured first responders and ensure their service and sacrifice are never forgotten.

Congratulations, Troy, and thank you to everyone who supported the Fallen 5-0 Chopper Raffle!

The 200 Club honors the life and sacrifice of Lieutenant Brandi Stock who served with the Brooklet Police Department until her End of Watch on September 19, 2021.

Lieutenant Stock dedicated her life to serving both her country and her community. Before entering law enforcement, she served six years in the United States Army, including service in Iraq. She began her law enforcement career in 2009 and went on to serve for more than 12 years.

Before joining the Brooklet Police Department, Lieutenant Stock served with the Warner Robins Police Department, where she spent six years and served as a member of the Patrol Division and as a SWAT operator. She also served with the Rincon Police Department. Lieutenant Stock joined the Brooklet Police Department in 2018. Her leadership and dedication quickly became evident as she rose through the ranks to Lieutenant and served as Assistant Chief. Following her passing, the Brooklet Police Department remembered Lieutenant Stock as a deeply loved member of their department whose loss left an emptiness among those who served beside her.

Today, The 200 Club of the Coastal Empire remembers Lieutenant Brandi Stock for her leadership, courage, and lifetime of service. We honor her sacrifice and stand alongside her husband, loved ones and law enforcement family who continue to carry her memory forward.

During the ceremony, Chatham County Firefighter Christopher Carter and Captain John William Farrell were recognized for their valor and lifesaving actions during a major apartment fire this past April.

We are also incredibly grateful to Pastor McInerney and the Bible Baptist Church Savannah family for their generous $10,000 gift to support the mission of the 200 Club. Thank you for standing with our first responders and the families we serve.

The 200 Club honors the life and sacrifice of Chief Frank A. McClelland Jr. who served with the Ludowici Police Department until his End of Watch on September 15, 2018.

Chief McClelland dedicated much of his life to public service. Before becoming Ludowici's police chief, he served 21 years with the Liberty County Sheriff’s Department, retiring at the rank of Lieutenant. His service to his hometown also included 26 years on the Ludowici City Council. Beyond his service locally, Chief McClelland was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of First Baptist Church in Ludowici.

On September 15, 2018, a high-speed police pursuit that began in Liberty County continued into Long County. Chief McClelland stepped out of his patrol vehicle to stop traffic on Highway 84 in an effort to protect motorists from the approaching pursuit. Chief McClelland's final actions reflected the way he lived his life: protecting others and serving his community. Friends and neighbors remember him as someone they could count on and a man who was always willing to help.

Chief McClelland was a husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, veteran, community leader and friend. His lifetime of service left a legacy that continues to be felt by the people and community he devoted himself to protecting.

The 200 Club honors the life and sacrifice of Firefighter Stuart Hardy of the Burton Fire Department, whose Last Alarm was September 13, 2015.

Before beginning his career in the fire service, Firefighter Hardy proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps as a Diesel and Hydraulic Mechanic at Marine Corps Air Station Beaufort. Following his honorable discharge, he pursued his dream of becoming a firefighter. After graduating from the South Carolina Fire Academy, Stuart began serving with Burton Fire District as a Firefighter. He also completed his EMT training in July 2015 and received his certification in August of that year.

On September 13, 2015, Firefighter Hardy responded to a motor vehicle collision in Burton while on duty. After assessing those involved in the crash, he collapsed while retrieving equipment from his unit. He had only been living his dream of being a firefighter for about a year, but in that short time, he made a lasting difference in his community, his department, and the lives of those he touched.

Firefighter Hardy was a beloved husband, father, Marine, and Firefighter/EMT with the Burton Fire District. We extend our continued support to his wife, Nicole, and their three daughters.
