🐾 Welcome back, Panthers! 🐾

Our Northeast Intermediate School staff is thrilled to kick off the 2026-27 school year! Whether you're a new Panther family or a familiar face, we're so glad you're part of our NEIS community.

A few reminders for the year ahead:

📍 New Entry Point: All student drop-off, pick-up, and guest entry will take place through our Gibson Street entrance — the main columned entryway marked "NEIS."

🪪 ID Required for Pickup: If you need to pick up your child during the school day, please bring a valid photo ID to present at the Gibson Street entrance.

🚌 Dismissal: Starting around 3:15 PM, bus numbers will be announced over the PA system. Once your child's bus is called, they'll exit through the Gibson Street side doors (the same doors used for morning entry).

Once all buses have been called, walkers and car riders will exit through the Main Entrance doors into the NEIS courtyard (front of school, across from Adams Avenue) at approximately 3:26 PM.

🚗 If you are picking your child up in a car, please park near the courtyard.

🚶‍➡️🚶‍♀️‍➡️ If you are walking your child home, please wait in the courtyard.

👕 Dress Code: Students are expected to be in dress code all day, every day. NEIS/SHS spirit wear tops are acceptable only.

🎒 🍼 Bags & Bottles: Only clear or mesh backpacks, and clear water bottles are permitted.

Another successful, and productive, night for Northeast Intermediate School at our second annual Parent Orientation! Our newest families brought some great questions that led to even better conversations this evening.

We look forward to getting the 2026/2027 school year underway as our doors open for students on Wednesday, August 26th, 2026!

Next up for our families: NEIS Back-to-School Night (see flyer attached), and more announcements regarding the first day of school this weekend!
