On behalf of all members we Thank you agin

A HUGE thank you to the Newton Ransom Community 🤍

You all did it again… showed up and SHOWED OUT! Tonight was absolutely jam packed, and seeing the amount of love and support for the Newton Ransom Volunteer Fire Department was truly incredible. We are honestly at a loss for words.

This community never fails to rally behind the people who serve and protect them every single day. The way everyone comes together to support our first responders is something so special and honestly rare to see. Your volunteer firefighters give so much to this community, and tonight this community gave that love right back.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to every single person who came out, waited in line, supported the fire department, and supported us. To the members of the department who stopped by and continued to ask us if we need anything and if we were okay THANK YOU!!! Newton Ransom is truly one of a kind, and nights like tonight remind us just how lucky we are to be a part of it ❤️

April is National Volunteer Month 🚒
Join Us Today!

Volunteer firefighting is the backbone of Pennsylvania’s emergency response system. With an estimated 90% of the Commonwealth’s 2,000+ fire companies relying on volunteers, our neighbors play a vital role in ensuring public safety and protecting lives & property. Their dedication saves Pennsylvania communities an estimated $10 billion annually in costs that would otherwise be needed for paid firefighting services. But this service model relies on neighbors helping neighbors.

Pennsylvania State Fire Commissioner Thomas Cook is encouraging everyone to consider volunteering at their local fire company. “There’s no greater reward in life than helping others in their time of need. No matter who you are, the skills you possess today are needed in your local volunteer fire station. Fire departments across the state are looking for you to knock on their door to help them now more than ever. Please consider joining your local volunteer fire company today. “
— State Fire Commissioner Thomas Cook
