Orca Appeal Validated by the State Growth Management Board ✅ - update from Tree Action Seattle

Last week, the State Growth Management Board found the Comprehensive Plan environmental impact statement inadequate, including polluted stormwater runoff impacts on endangered salmon.

They said "the entire FEIS is inadequate" because officials studied the environmental impact of only about ⅓ of the total units actually upzoned. The Board gave the City one year to fix or bring the FEIS into compliance with the ruling.

We are hopeful that an accurate FEIS will result in better policies for growing with our urban forest instead of paving over it.

You likely also know that TIME IS UP for sitting back and watching the capitalist class burn down our and our kids' futures---from the climate crisis, the surveillance and police state, the criminal health insurance racket, the AI data-center takeover, and the accelerating inequality and cost of living crisis.

This election is far from decided. It's going to take all of us to defeat Adam Smith and send revolutionary shockwaves across this country at a time when we need it most.
