PUDs are unique in the nation - by, for and of the local communities that we serve. Clallam County PUD offers electric, water, sewer, and telecom services. Clallam PUD has 160 employees, and serves over 33,000 accounts in Clallam County with energy from over 97% clean, renewable, affordable and carbon-free sources. COMMENT POLICY: As a public entity, the District must abide by certain standards to

serve all its constituents in a civil and unbiased manner. The intended purpose of establishing a Social Media presence is to disseminate time-sensitive information to residents of the District, as well as for marketing and promotional purposes related to District business. The following forms of content, which disrupt, disturb or otherwise impede the orderly dissemination of District information, may be prohibited and are subject to removal and/or restriction by the District’s Communication Manager or designee:

1. Comments not related to the business of the District, or not relevant to the original topic;

2. Violent, profane, obscene or pornographic content and/or language;

3. Content that promotes, fosters or perpetuates discrimination on the basis of race, creed, color, age, religion, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, national origin, or other protected class;

4. Content that threatens or defames any person or organization;

5. Content that includes personal attacks, harassment, insults or threatening language, or is hateful or intended to incite violence;

6. Solicitation of commerce, including but not limited to, advertising of any non-government related event, or business or product for sale;

7. Conduct in violation of any federal, state or local law;

8. Information that may tend to compromise the safety or security of the public or public systems;

10. Content that violates a legal ownership interest, such as a copyright, of any party;

11. Content posted using impersonation of someone else; or

Clallam County PUD has posted a new project update regarding planned water infrastructure improvements in the East Bluff neighborhood.

The project will replace aging water main infrastructure, improve system reliability, reduce future leaks and maintenance issues, and add new fire hydrants to improve fire protection coverage.

Construction is anticipated to begin in early Fall 2026.

10:42 am - Water Outage Notice

The Water Crew is making repairs affecting portions of the Evergreen Water System.

Customers on portions of E. Silberhorn Road and Valley View Drive may experience a temporary interruption in water service. Restoration is expected within the next few hours.

We appreciate your patience while crews work to safely complete repairs as quickly as possible.

9:56 am- Clallam County PUD crews are responding to a power outage caused by a vehicle accident involving a power pole.

The accident damaged the pole and electrical equipment, resulting in an outage in the area. Crews are on scene working to safely assess the damage and restore power as quickly as possible.

Please stay away from any downed power lines or damaged equipment and assume all lines are energized.

Thank you for your patience while crews work to restore service safely.

Estimated time of restoration is two hours.

Clallam County PUD has increased drought response measures to Stage 2.

Customers in the Carlsborg, Evergreen, Port Angeles Composite, Clallam Bay Sekiu, Island View, and Panoramic Heights water systems are encouraged to begin voluntary water conservation efforts as we head into the summer season.

Simple actions like reducing outdoor watering, fixing leaks, and using water-efficient appliances can make a meaningful difference.
