🚦 Speed Limit Change on East Green Bay Street 🚦

Please be aware that the speed limit on East Green Bay Street between Eberlein Park Drive and just east of Airport Road has been reduced from 40 MPH to 35 MPH.

This adjustment is intended to improve safety for motorists, pedestrians, and all who travel through this corridor.

New speed limit signs will be posted throughout the area today. We encourage all drivers to watch for the updated signage and adjust their speed accordingly.

Please note: The reduction in the speed limit does not change the current restrictions on ATV/UTV operation within this section of East Green Bay Street. ATV/UTV use remains prohibited in this area under the current ordinance. Any future consideration of ATV/UTV access would require review by the appropriate City committees and commissions and potential approval of an updated ordinance.

What a great night we had last night at Sirens and Slices at Pizza Hut!! Even though it poured 🌧️ ☔️ on us, we had an awesome turnout for the first time having this event!

It's Time to Celebrate Our JUNE Anniversary!

26 years ~ Chief Mike Musolff was hired 06/12/00 with the Shawano Police Department and brings more than 30 years of law enforcement experience to our community.

Chief Musolff began his career as a correctional officer with the Shawano County Sheriff's Office before serving as a patrol deputy with the Menominee County Sheriff's Office. Since joining the Shawano Police Department, he has served in numerous roles, including Field Training Officer, School Resource Officer, Evidence Technician, Evidence Custodian, and Lieutenant.

Chief Musolff is deeply committed to the Shawano community and values building strong relationships, supporting community events, and strengthening partnerships between law enforcement and the citizens we serve.

Chief Musolff, thank you for your leadership, dedication, and unwavering commitment to making both this department and our community better. We appreciate all that you do! Congratulations!

What a great day we had at the Touch a Truck Event that Walmart Shawano put on yesterday to raise money for the Children’s Miracle Network! Thank you to everyone who showed up to support Walmart and their event! There were also a lot of s’mores made!

The park was packed and the pictures don’t do it justice, but we didn’t get a chance to get too many photos when everyone was at the park!

What an amazing first Lunch in the Park we had! We had an awesome turnout! We grilled as fast as we could and had to buy more food because we ran out!
