American Legion Ambulance Service Station 64 Inc. American Legion Ambulance Station 64 is an emergency medical service. Founding in 1924 by World War I Veterans of the David C.

American Legion Ambulance Station 64 provides the towns of Smyrna and Clayton as well as other surrounding areas of Delaware Emergency Medical Basic Life Support Care. Harrison American Legion Post 14 the American Legion Ambulance Station became the first American Legion to provide medical care thus becoming " First in the World." Today the Ambulance Station operates four Basic Life Support Units with a combination of Volunteer and Paid Staff and in 2023 responded to over 4,800 calls.

Meet Willow, she is an amazing warrior battling NTRK-rearranged spindle cell neoplasm sarcoma. She recently has gone in to remission after surgery! She “Kicked its butt” She is the Granddaughter of Station 64’s Lt. Melissa Jarman. Speaking with the family Willow her Mom Andrea and Father James want awareness to be brought for rare cancers. So this is how we support Willows mission!

A big thank you to the Sudlersville Volunteer Fire Company for inviting American Legion Ambulance, Station 64 to provide EMS coverage for the 2026 Peach Festival!

We had a great time serving the community, meeting so many wonderful people, and showcasing Gator 64—it was definitely a crowd favorite! We also enjoyed the opportunity to let many attendees know that American Legion proudly operates an ambulance service dedicated to serving our community of Smyrna-Clayton.

Thank you again for your hospitality and partnership. We look forward to the opportunity to return and support the Peach Festival again next year!
