We had so much fun at the 2026 ANCOR American Network of Community Options and Resources Connect Conference in Boston, that we wanted to share more highlights with you! Jen Elleraas, Minnesota Senior Director said it best when speaking about one of our award-winning DSPs doing something for someone on a rare day off from work:

“Brenda came up to me and said, ‘the tour of Boston was fun, but I was really hoping to talk to a vendor to find some glasses for an individual I support, they need some help focusing on what they’re seeing.’ If that is not the true heart of a DSP, I don’t know what else is: that even during a day that celebrates her, she’s always thinking of the people she supports.”

This video is a celebration of Dungarvin’s DSPs. We hope it brings a smile to your face and paints a picture of these 6 incredible professionals at the top of their game – and being recognized for it by their industry!

👋Everyone, please say hi to Brian!

He first connected with employment services in 1995-1996 after being referred by a family member when he needed employment support. Since then, he has built a strong and steady career with the help of individualized services tailored to his needs.

Through Compass, Brian worked in retail and with the railroad transporting conductors between Spokane and Whitefish Montana. Over the years he has developed valuable skills, confidence, and long-term job stability.

In Brian's words, "Compass truly understands what I need. They’ve always been there for me-even during tough times.”

We’re proud to walk alongside individuals like Brian as the build meaningful careers and lasting success.

ANCOR selected him for his ability to find creative ways to help the individuals he supports connect with their communities.

🏆Braeden Tyler-Babkirk has a knack for finding creative ways to help the individuals he supports as an Employment Specialist at Compass Career Solutions A Dungarvin Company based in Washington.

That ability, along with his problem-solving skills, compassion and personal dedication to those he serves, recently resulted in a huge honor: an ANCOR American Network of Community Options and Resources DSP of the Year Award in Innovation!

Braeden and five other Dungarvin DSP of the Year winners from around the country accepted their awards during the ANCOR Connect ’26 conference, April 21-23 in Boston.

🏅 Meet Steve, a recent Special Olympics State GOLD Medalist with his basketball team!

Steve has been with our Community Inclusion services since August of 2025. He's a cancer survivor and strongly values being active and maintaining his health. With direct support, he went out into his community and visited three local gyms and decided to join Keep Moving with Claude!

Over the last six months, Steve has seen measurable improvement in his health and has formed meaningful social connections at the gym. He shares that he is much stronger because of his exercise program and looks forward to the sessions each week.
