✨ We’re excited to announce the launch of Humanitri’s newly redesigned website! ✨

Our new site better reflects who we are today — a Christ-centered organization walking alongside families as they move from crisis to stability and toward thriving futures.

The updated website offers:
🏠 A clearer look into our Transformational Housing Program
💙 Stories of hope and impact
🤝 Easier ways to volunteer, partner, and give

Most importantly, it highlights the incredible resilience of the families we serve and the community that surrounds them with help and hope every day.

We invite you to explore the new site and learn more about how, together, we are helping families achieve all God created them to be. Thank you for being part of the Humanitri community!

We are grateful for the opportunity to deepen our partnership with Saint Louis University School of Law and begin collaboration with the School of Social Work! 🎉

Over the past several months, Humanitri has been working with the Saint Louis University Law Entrepreneurship and Community Development Clinic, where SLU students Hannah Stark and Julia Schmid Schnettgoecke have been reviewing and strengthening our program and housing contracts. Their thoughtful work has helped ensure that our agreements are clear, supportive of the families we serve, and legally sound. We are thrilled that this collaboration will continue into the fall of 2026.

Beginning in June, we will also launch an exciting new partnership with the School of Social Work. Faculty and students will work alongside our team, led by Director of Programs, Ashley Moore, to enhance program outcome identification and tracking while updating our two-generational HOPE and TAG curriculum. This work will help ensure that both parents and children receive the most relevant tools, skills, and support needed to build long-term stability and thrive.

At Humanitri, we believe lasting change happens when communities come together to share their gifts and expertise. We are deeply thankful to the students and faculty at Saint Louis University for investing their time, talent, and passion into strengthening our mission and expanding our impact for families across St. Louis. 💙

Today, we give thanks for all of the incredible moms in our lives, and we lift up especially the mothers in Humanitri’s Transformational Housing Program. 💐

Each of these women is working hard to heal from past challenges, build new skills, and create a brighter future for their children. Their resilience, courage, and unwavering love are truly inspiring.

We are especially grateful to a wonderful group of volunteers from Christ Memorial Lutheran Church who prepared thoughtful Mother’s Day gift bags filled with pampering items and treats. Their kindness reminds our moms that they are seen, valued, and deeply loved.

To all the mothers in our program—and everywhere—Happy Mother’s Day! ❤️

Today is Day✨

More than 1,000 nonprofits across our region are coming together to strengthen the St. Louis community — and we hope you’ll choose Humanitri as one of your gifts today.

Because when we work together, families can move from crisis to stability, pursue their dreams, and build a future filled with hope.

Your support helps provide safe housing, basic needs, life-skills support, and compassionate two-generational care for families working to break cycles of poverty and homelessness.

Together, we can walk alongside resilient families with the help, healing, and hope they deserve. ✨

Give today and be part of transformational change in St. Louis.

Last week was full of all the volunteer feels 💕

On Wednesday, we had the joy of serving alongside our neighbors during The Missouri District LCMS SHINE event (see our previous post!), and on Friday we welcomed our friends from Lutheran North. Together, we continued cleanup efforts at our Lutheran Development Group master lease property—living out our mission to serve as Christ’s hands of mercy.

We are so grateful for partners who share in this work and these moments. Thank you for showing up, serving generously, and making a difference!✨

We often think about Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs in relation to our clients—seeking to meet them where they are in their journey. This week, however, our team took time to reflect more deeply on what those needs look like in our own lives.

Taking time to step back and care for our own well-being allows us to show up more fully, more thoughtfully, and more compassionately for the families we serve.

A special thank you to Board member, Antoinette Marie, for sharing this opportunity for learning and staff development through the PACE Academy. It has been a meaningful experience to step outside of our comfort zones and take time to focus inward.

It was a perfect day to ✨SHINE✨ as our team partnered up with volunteers from Lutheran Development Group, Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Intersect Arts Center, Lutheran Church Extension Fund, LCEF, and The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod to love on our South City neighbors by cleaning, renovating, and landscaping the neighborhood. What a beautiful way to serve together as the hands and feet of Jesus. Thank you to all the hardworking volunteers for helping make this neighborhood ✨SHINE✨
