We are proud to congratulate Logan MacEwan, Logan Evans, Shelby Burkhalter, Logan Roark, Donovan Bonds, and Jonathon Kirstin on their graduation from the Florida Gateway College Fire Academy! Over the past several months, these six have pushed through long days, tough scenarios, and the kind of training that demands grit, heart, and commitment.

Much of Bradford County is currently experiencing heavy smoke conditions due to ongoing brush fires in the surrounding area. Visibility may be reduced in some locations.

If you see actual flames or an active fire threat, please call 9-1-1 immediately.

Please use caution while driving and continue to avoid outdoor burning until conditions improve. The Bradford County Burn Ban is still in effect.
