🍎LEAVING A LEGACY🍎

This year, we celebrate five remarkable leaders whose careers have helped shape the Martin County School District and the experiences of countless students, families, and employees.

We are proud to honor:
🍎 Dianne Falls, Executive Administrative Assistant to the Superintendent — 35 years
🍎 Dr. Tracey Miller, Deputy Superintendent — 34 years
🍎 Deb Riley, Director of Student Services — 26 years
🍎 Julie Sessa, Coordinator of Facilities — 22 years
🍎 Shela Khanal, Director of Federal Programs — 21 years

Together, these women represent more than 100 years of service to the Martin County School District. Their leadership, expertise, and commitment have strengthened our schools, supported our employees, and helped create opportunities for generations of students.

As they begin their next chapter, we extend our sincere gratitude for all they have given to the MCSD and community. District leaders were proud to celebrate their service and retirements during a recent meeting, followed by cake and photos. 😊

☀️📚SUMMER LEARNING SUMMIT📚☀️

School is out for the summer, but professional learning is in!

This week, educators from across the Martin County School District are coming together for Summer Summit—engaging in professional learning through Camp TEACH, AVID, PLC leadership sessions, and more.

From collaborating with colleagues to exploring new technology and strengthening the tools already in their classrooms, our teachers are sharpening their practice with one goal in mind: providing the very best learning experiences for our students. We’re proud of the time, energy, and commitment they’re investing this summer, and excited to see the impact when students return!

To our educators and paraprofessionals: whether you’re attending sessions or not, don’t forget to sign up for Wednesday’s lunch and keynote in Frontline! 😊
