So honored to have been selected as a presenter at this Nonprofit Symposium and inspired by the energy, engagement, and heart of the nonprofit leaders, board members, and community advocates who filled both of these consecutive sessions. The interaction, discussion, and willingness to grow were truly powerful.

One attendee shared:
"This wasn’t just another workshop… it completely changed the way I think about getting buy-in and inspiring action."

That right there is why I do this work.

We explored practical strategies around ethical influence, communication, and understanding people more effectively — especially in a time when nonprofits are being asked to do more with less.

A heartfelt thank you to Michele Hummel, Executive Director of Next Herkimer and her incredible team, and, for creating such a meaningful experience for our region. And special appreciation to for extraordinary tech support and hospitality of the employees of Herkimer County Community College throughout the event.

I felt this… not just in the words, but in the room.

Midland, Texas.

A room full of women who didn’t come to be inspired for a moment…
They came to revisit who they are created to be.

Between the conversations…
The quiet tears…
The bold decisions being made in real time…
You could feel something shifting.

Not louder.
Not forced.
Just… clearer.

But there comes a moment…
when you realize you don’t just have a voice, you have the power to redefine the story.
That’s what I’m stepping into these days.
Not just sharing words… but owning my message, my journey, my purpose.
Because the life you’re meant to live begins the moment you speak your truth, and you do it out loud.
