• Now is the time to Pre-register your show car, truck, motorcycle, or specialty vehicle for Mid-County Community Center’s Car Show Fundraiser scheduled on Sunday, August 16th, at 10:00 am to 3:00 pm! Over 300 spots are available to display some pretty spectacular vehicles in the Central Avenue Elementary School’s huge grass field. We have so many amazing things planned. Just a few to mention are the raffle prizes from LeMay America’s Car Museum, Dukes Chowder House, Griot’s Garage, and Wilco Farm Store, among many others. We’ll have the amazing Randy Kerdoon volunteering to MC this event. Check out his podcast, “Talking About Cars with Randy & Hot Rod Bob” on Facebook, Instagram, Linked In and BlueSky. DJ, Jesse Tilt will be playing lots of fun music! Bring your friends and buy those raffle tickets. Maybe you could be the big winner of the 50/50! (Must be present to win), enjoy bake sale items, win an award, purchase a yummy lunch, check out the cool cars and enjoy a fun afternoon knowing that you’re helping MCCC to continue providing needed senior services in our community! We will even have the Miss Wahoo Unlimited Hydroplane on display thanks to a wonderful sponsor, Delta Machine, Inc. Additional sponsorship has graciously been provided by U.S. Oil & Refining Company, Ceccanti, and Maximum Performance, Inc. So, come into the MCCC office now and pay only $20.00 to pre-register your show vehicle (cash/check/credit accepted). It will be $25.00 the day of the event. It’s FREE for all spectators.
