Yesterday, TCH families enjoyed a special afternoon at The Children’s Museum of Tacoma in partnership with Greentrike! ✨

Families spent the afternoon learning, exploring, playing, and connecting in a safe, inclusive environment. We’re grateful to the museum for making these experiences accessible through its unique “Pay As You Will” admission model—the only one of its kind in the nation. 🎨 🧩

A special thank you to Annie Wright Schools for generously providing transportation to and from the museum, and to an anonymous donor for sending each child home with a backpack filled with school supplies. These thoughtful contributions helped create meaningful experiences and lasting memories for our families. 💙🤝

Celebrating Our Ukrainian Community! 🇺🇦

This August, Tacoma Community House honors the strength, resilience, and contributions of our Ukrainian community.

Over the past five years, Ukrainians have remained one of the largest communities we serve, with individuals and families connected across Immigration, Housing, Education, Employment, and Advocacy programs.

We are grateful to our Ukrainian clients, students, and staff for enriching Tacoma with their culture, hope, and resilience. Thank you for being part of the Tacoma Community House family! 🌻💙

Last Tuesday, Sheri Tonn—a campaign committee member and longtime TCH supporter—organized a special visit for those who have supported our work for many years.

We extend our sincere thanks to Sheri and Jeff Tonn, Jenni Browning (former member of the new building campaign committee), the Mayer family, Steph Farber, Jayasri Ghosh, Priya Manion, and the family of Dennis Flannigan for their steadfast support and for joining us today.
