Celebrating 10 Years of the Center for Strong Families! 🎉
On Friday, October 2, Tacoma Community House (TCH) had the honor of joining United Way of Pierce County for a special celebration commemorating 10 years of impact through the Center for Strong Families (CSF) program.
For a decade, this meaningful partnership has helped empower individuals and families throughout our community by providing financial education, employment coaching, and essential resources to build greater financial stability and create pathways to opportunity.
We are especially proud of the collaborative work taking place at our Franklin Pierce location through the partnership between United Way of Pierce County, Franklin Pierce Schools, and Tacoma Community House. Mary and Viktoriia have been instrumental in this work, building relationships and supporting families through free financial and employment coaching. Next month, we will celebrate their second anniversary serving families at the Franklin Pierce location!
Their work continues to grow. Most recently, they have expanded services to include immigration assistance provided by members of TCH's Department of Justice (DOJ)-accredited team, helping families access even more resources and support in one welcoming place.
👏 Congratulations to United Way of Pierce County on this important 10-year milestone, and a heartfelt thank-you to all of our partners, staff, and community members who make this work possible.
