Shakespeare Man
Wed., Sept. 2, 5:00 pm
L3X kicks off this year with an Opening Dinner!

Shakespeare Man is a lively, interactive experience led by Phil Croton from the Southern Shakespeare Company. Through spirited storytelling and scenes, audiences are invited to laugh, connect, and rediscover the joy of language brought vividly to life that includes participants reading and performing short scenes from Shakespeare’s plays. Includes Dinner.

All are welcome! Reserve Tickets Online:

Phil Croton grew up in London and trained at The Italia Conti Drama School, making his West End debut at age eleven, flying around the stage as John Darling in “Peter Pan” at the Scala Theatre. He later appeared in various film and television roles, though his passion has always been live theatre.
He worked in Theatre in the UK and served as Head of Education at the Theatre Royal in Bury St. Edmunds. In Tallahassee, he shares his love of Shakespeare as Co Director of The Bardlings through the Southern Shakespeare Company.

In Shakespeare Man, he performs as Shakespeare himself – striving to make Shakespeare fun and accessible and to remind people that he was a man and an entertainer before he became a huge cultural and literary figure. Bringing Shakespeare to life makes it interesting to audiences, inspiring an appreciation of Shakespeare.
