It's Brain Health Awareness Month - Get Your Mind Moving!

At the Tallahassee Senior Center, you'll find friendly chats, group classes, and activities to boost well-being. Regular movement improves blood flow to the brain and supports memory and learning. Studies show that moderate activity - like brisk walking - is linked to clearer thinking and may lower the risk of Alzheimer’s. Staying socially connected matters just as much. Social interaction reduces loneliness and supports cognitive function.

Give your brain a boost - move more, connect often, and stay curious!

What a fantastic Monday evening with the Capital City Bands of Tallahassee!

“Celebrating our United States Semiquincentennial: Songs of America, II” was the perfect way to kick off the 250th birthday celebrations of our country. The music was beautiful, the energy was high, and the sing‑alongs were fun.

Thank you to the musicians, director, and everyone who came out to celebrate together!

A Legacy of Love
There are few things more powerful than the legacy we leave behind. Your legacy can be a guiding light for generations to come. By including the Tallahassee Senior Citizens Foundation in your will, trust, or estate plans, you ensure that seniors will continue receiving vital services.

It’s a lasting expression of love, generosity, and hope.

For many donors, legacy gifts also offer meaningful tax advantages, allowing you to care for your family and your community at the same time. Please consult with your attorney or financial planner about leaving a lasting gift.
