Learning never stops at The Grove at Canopy!
We recently welcomed Mr. David Odom, Director of the Consolidated Dispatch Agency, for an informative presentation about emergency communications in our community. Residents learned about the partnership between the City of Tallahassee and Leon County, the extensive training 911 dispatchers receive, and the importance of providing your location first when calling for emergency assistance.
It was a fascinating discussion that gave residents a behind-the-scenes look at the vital work being done to keep our community safe. We're grateful to Mr. Odom for sharing his expertise, and we're already looking forward to his return this fall when he'll be demonstrating how drones are being used in public safety operations!
