The Kansas AFL-CIO is proud to endorse Congresswoman Sharice Davids for re-election in the 3rd Congressional District.

President Brian Alexander put it simply: we're standing with Sharice because she stands with labor — and she's got the voting record to prove it. She voted to restore union rights for millions of federal workers. She voted to protect Medicaid. She shows up for working families, vote after vote.

Sharice has spent her time in Congress fighting for good-paying jobs, stronger unions, and lower costs for Kansas families. With the attacks on workers coming hard and fast, we need her voice in D.C. now more than ever.
Kansas labor is all in. Let's send her back.

Today is Worker's Memorial Day.

Let us all remember- the laws that protect us were not handed down. They were carried in on the backs of those who demanded better, including right here in Kansas.

It's our job to hold the line and keep demanding better!

Kansas workers deserve protection from dangerous heat on the job - not fewer inspections and a free pass for corporations. The Trump administration's new OSHA directive moves in exactly the wrong direction. As temperatures rise and Workers Memorial Day approaches, we're calling for real enforcement and real accountability.

The Trump admin’s new OSHA policy limits the ability to hold bosses accountable when they fail to protect workers from heat on the job.

As heat-related illnesses rise, the administration is willfully putting workers at risk to pad corporations' pockets. https://aflcio.org/press/releases/afl-cio-dangerous-new-trump-administration-osha-directive-abandons-workers-facing

Wind. Solar. Storage. That's Union Work.

Every megawatt of solar means two full-time union jobs for at least two years. Electricians, laborers, operators — home for dinner every night. Clean energy isn't just good for the environment. It's good for working families. Here's where the Kansas AFL-CIO stands.
