It's time for our annual elections!
When: Sunday, 2/15 at 2:30pm
Where: Shawnee County Democrats office
We will be elected a full board at this weekends meeting!
Have you been feeling directionless in a world that seems to be searching for ways to cause harm? Would you like to do something about?
This is your chance! Any registered democrat under 36 is eligible! We are strongly encouraging officers to be over 18 in this election however as we have some fiscal items to resolve and the bank regulations don't agree with our organizational ones.
We are also engaged in chartering this year and will need to submit a membership list to the Kansas Young Democrats, so if you are just interested in membership please come and sign the member roll at the meeting!
The chapter has had some difficulties the last year. We don't want to sound desperate, but while we have some tentative interest in board positions we have no clear candidates for any position. Without filling these spots, the chapter will shut down and be incorporated into the county party. The roles we need are:
President
Vice President
Secretary
Treasurer
