Come on out to the Broderick’s Legacy of Outreach, Community, & Kinship (B.L.O.CK.) Party and Wellness Fair—we’re here!

Honoring the legacy of Broderick Crawford, the B.L.O.C.K. Party is more than an event, it’s a gathering rooted in gratitude, memory, and purpose.

Hosted by the Center for African American Health in partnership with the Heartland Health Conference, it’s our way of honoring where we’ve been, celebrating where we are, and imagining where we're headed.

Through celebration, wellness, education and connection, this event is curated for all! At the heart of this year's celebration is a tribute to Broderick Crawford, whose more than 30 years of dedication to this community helped bring the Center for African American Health into being. We carry his legacy forward with the same care and commitment he gave to Wyandotte County for over three decades.
