Grants for Arts Projects (GAP) is National Endowment for the Arts' principal grants category, providing project-based funding for organizations. Grants are available for arts projects of all sizes in a wide variety of artistic disciplines. Projects may take place in any part of the nation’s 50 states, the District of Columbia, and U.S. jurisdictions.

Blue Valley High School junior Miriam Mantara took 🥇 1st Place at the State Poetry Out Loud Contest in Topeka!
With her win, Miriam earned an all-expense-paid trip to Washington, DC to compete at Nationals in April—plus $500 for the school.

Artists have a few more days to apply to be included on the SIGNS Roster. This roster connects Kansas-based designers and artists with communities participating in the new SIGNS storefront‑signage grant program. The SIGNS initiative strengthens rural downtowns by pairing local businesses with skilled artists to develop high‑quality, distinctive signage that boosts visibility and economic vitality. Artists accepted to the roster may be selected for paid design work in spring and summer 2026.

APPLICATIONS DUE at 11:59 p.m. on Saturday, February 28, 2026.
