Townsend's Child Safety Day

Townsend's Child Safety Day An event that takes place from 12 to 4pm every May to educate local families and their children.

Through out the day kids and their families have opportunities to meet and talk with the local police, fire, and other emergency medical service providers, get a closer look at the local agencies' apparatus and equipment, and receive preventive safety materials and equipment.

Townsend Parks & Rec has teamed up with Little River Railroad & Lumber Company Museum to bring you our first Community Easter Egg Hunt event!

Where: Little River Railroad & Lumber Co. Museum
When: Saturday, March 28th
Time: from 12:00-2:00pm 👉🏼 Egg Hunt begins at 1:00pm!🪺

Come out and join us for community family fun, fellowship, crafts, treats, an egg hunt, and some special surprises🎉

We hear Foothills Kiwanis will be there too 🤩
