This week's nature class was full of sensory exploration, imagination, and a little bit of mystery! Our featured creature guessing game had us using clues to discover that our special animal was the bear. We learned some amazing bear facts, including just how incredible their sense of smell is!
We continued our bear exploration by reading The Little Mouse, the Red Ripe Strawberry, and the Big Hungry Bear. Then, inspired by a bear’s powerful nose, we created our very own nature potions!

We smelled, mixed, crushed, and explored fragrant ingredients like mint, basil, lavender, and more. Each potion was a chance to slow down, use our senses, make discoveries, and see what wonderful scents nature has to offer.
