Learn to Embroider: Mini Hoops

Join embroidery instructor Chloe Whittaker at the Brunswick Community Library for a hands-on workshop where participants will make two 1" hoops featuring a rose. Hoops can later be turned into magnets, earrings, or pendants. All materials will be provided. This class is beginner-friendly. Registration is required, as space is limited. Jen of Prancing Pony is certified through Cosmic Kids Yoga & believes that all children should have access to yoga, mindfulness, and meditation. These lessons not only help kids now, but will give them the tools they can draw upon for the rest of their lives.

Join us for a discussion to discover how much bite the “Teeth of the Lion “ the Dandelion has. Gardener Chris Silk will be exploring this common "w**d", pollinator friend, medicinal herb brought over by the Puritans, food source, and Dandelion's many uses and stories. Share your knowledge, bring a recipe, or make something with Dandelion to share! We will also have a plant swap so bring your extra houseplants, herbs, flowers, and plants to swap!
