If you thought something was a little fishy at the library this morning, you were right! Today’s Storytime was all about goldfish & it was just fintastic.
We read goldfish stories, sang fish songs, and everyone adopted their own (plastic) pet goldfish and made the perfect little home for them! We also practiced counting, sorting, snacking, and pattern making with goldfish crackers. Talk about a fun morning!
We’ll be back for more Storytime fun next Tuesday at 11:00 when we’ll be talking all about dinosaurs as we get ready to Unearth a Story this summer 🦖 Hope to see you all then!

Tween Book Club meets tomorrow (June 11) at 5:30 in the Children's Room. They are discussing the graphic novel version of "Artemis Fowl" by Eoin Colfer. Meetings include book discussion, a related craft and snacks. New members welcome!

We must have a whole lot of young entomologists in town because kids were going buggy for Storytime today! It was a full house!
We read bug stories, sang songs, and made our own paper ladybugs🐞. Plus we had fun making play dough bugs and a practicing counting with a lightning bug counting activity.

The Friends of the Library have a beautiful gift basket prize raffle for Father’s Day! The basket includes a gorgeous handcrafted carving board made by a library patron, various BBQ supplies and a cookbook. Tickets are $2 a piece or 3 for $5.00 and are available at the Circulation Desk. The drawing will be held on June 15, 2026.

It’s growing season! We had ‘sow’ much fun at Storytime this morning with our gardening theme. We read stories, sang songs, decorated our own starter pots & planted bean, cucumber, pea and sugar baby watermelon seeds! We also had fun with playdoh and a veggie themed color sorting pom pom activity.
We’re looking forward to seeing everyone again next Tuesday for more Storytime fun. In the mean time, enjoy that sunshine and happy gardening!
