-Up to $2,500 to invest in technology such as a laptop, point-of-sale system, website, and more.
-Coaching to help you reach new markets.
-Financial coaching to support your next business steps.

Yesterday, our team had the opportunity to attend the SBA Space & Semiconductor Supplier Matchmaking Expo!🤝

The event gave us the chance to connect with anchor institutions, industry leaders, and resource partners while learning more about opportunities available for small businesses.

We also attended the breakout sessions "Fund the Future: Capital Formation" and "Seal the Deal: Mastering Matchmaking," which provided valuable insights on capital access, supplier readiness, and building meaningful business connections.

A big thank you to theU.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) for hosting this event and creating opportunities to learn, network, and collaborate. Events like these help us stay informed about new resources and opportunities so we can better support the small businesses we work with every day.

🎉 Exciting news for Thrive in the 05!

Residents received updates on the progress happening throughout the Thrive in the 05 area, including:

🏘️ 358 affordable housing units being preserved at Tucson House

🏗️ New affordable and mixed-income housing developments, including 66 units at Sugar Hill on Stone, 59 units at Amazon Flats, and 120 units planned at Stone & Speedway

💰 A $50 million HUD Choice Neighborhoods Implementation Grant that is helping move these investments forward

🍽️ Up to $3.5 million set aside to develop a Community Food Hub (in collaboration with the City of Tucson Small Business Center)

🏪 Up to $500,000 available for storefront improvements to support local businesses and strengthen commercial corridors

The future of Thrive in the 05 is being shaped through community input, partnerships, and continued investment. Thank you to everyone who continues to be part of this work.
