Registration is OPEN for A Journey to Ancient Lands (July 13–17). This isn't just a hiking camp—it’s a creative expedition where adventure meets creativity! Campers will explore some of the Southwest's most iconic landscapes while capturing the magic through iPad photography. 📸🌲

🌟 The Expedition Highlights:
🌲 Fool Hollow Lake: Kick off the week with cool lake time nestled in the pines.

🌈 Petrified Forest & Painted Desert: Walk among ancient, glittering crystal logs and vibrant badlands.

🧗 Canyon de Chelly: Hike down into breathtaking canyons to see stunning, historic cliff dwellings.

💦 Water Wheel Falls (Payson): Cool off, splash, and hike along beautiful flowing creeks!

We went up north last week to escape the heat and optionally tire out the kids... mission accomplished! 😴

Last week, we escaped the heat and headed up Mt. Lemmon for an unforgettable Geocaching Week with the kids! 🏔️✨

We traded the desert floor for pine trees, fresh mountain air, and some seriously clever hidden caches. The kids turned into ultimate mountain explorers—navigating trails, decoding clues, and hunting down treasures hidden among the rocks and trees. 🧭🎒

Looking for a way to keep your experienced hiker active, challenged, and out of the desert heat this summer?

We are excited to announce our upcoming Trailblazers of the Sky Islands summer outdoor adventure camp! Designed for campers who love a physical challenge, this week-long program takes participants out of the valley heat and into the beautiful, higher-elevation "Sky Islands" surrounding Tucson.

📅 Program Details
Days/Times: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Location: Daily departures to different mountain trails around Tucson

Experience Level: Advanced / Strenuous (Designed for daily hikes and experienced participants)

🗺️ The Journey
Our Adventure Guides prioritize safety while teaching resilience and exploring incredible trails:

Madera Canyon (2 Hikes): Exploring the lush trails south of Tucson, looking for wildlife and running water.

Mount Lemmon (3 Hikes): Escaping to the high-elevation pines right in our backyard.

🎒 What’s Included & What to Bring
We take care of the heavy lifting so your camper can focus on the trail! We provide all transportation, daily food, park entrance fees, and ways to cool off.

Campers must come prepared with:

🥾 Sturdy hiking boots or shoes (Required for attendance)

🎒 A backpack capable of carrying a water bottle (Daypacks available upon request!)

🧢 Sunscreen, a hat, and a water bottle (A bottle can be provided upon request)

Note: A comprehensive itinerary and full packing list will be emailed to all registered families prior to the first day of camp.

Mt. Lemmon Bound: Exploring the Sky Islands offers a hybrid day-camp and overnight-camp experience designed for students in grades 4–8. It’s the perfect blend of outdoor education, skills building, and classic summer fun (like fishing and hiking!).

Important Details:

Dates: June 22–26, 2026

Monday & Tuesday: Day camp hours (9:00 AM – 4:00 PM)

Wednesday – Friday: The ultimate mountain overnight! Drop-off is Wednesday at 9:00 AM, and pickup is Friday at 4:00 PM.

Cost: $475
