This is a quick "cheatsheet" for scheduled days off. Every day counts for our students!

Student Attendance makes a huge difference in their annual academic growth which is why it is one of our key school goals. We have an overall goal of a 94% attendance rate and a goal to decrease Chronic Absenteeism (missing more than 10% of the school year) to 15%. Last year's chronic rate was 19.75%. The Rattlesnake Ridge K-3 literacy data from last year has shown a direct correlation between student reading achievement and their attendance. Students that were at school 91% of the school year scored, on average, 15% higher than their chronically absent peers.

Tardiness will also impact learning. Coming into school at 9AM instead of 7:45 can cause students to miss out on key learning.

Students late by 1 hour would miss:

K - Fundations Phonics from 8:00-8:30

1st - Differentiated Small group reading 7:55-8:55

2nd - Specials 8:00-9:00

3rd-6th - Math 8:00-9:15
