The Officers and Members of the Schuyler Volunteer Fire Company Inc. regret to announce the passing of Past President and Life Member, Gerry Amendola, yesterday.

Gerry’s dedication and service to our company and community will never be forgotten. He leaves behind a lasting legacy within our department.

The members of the Schuyler Volunteer Fire Company Inc. would like to extend our sincere congratulations to Lieutenant Alex Scholl on his successful completion of the Utica Fire Academy.

This achievement marks an important step in his career with the Herkimer Fire Department, and we are proud that his training and experience also benefit the Schuyler Volunteer Fire Company and the community we serve.

This is a significant accomplishment that reflects his dedication, hard work, and commitment to the fire service. We are proud to have Lt. Scholl as part of our department and look forward to his continued contributions.

The Schuyler volunteer fire company would like to extend congratulations to probationary firefighters Jeremiah Fernandez, Antonio Pagliaro, and Benny Rotundo on successfully completing the IFo Class (Interior Firefighting Operations), a comprehensive 49-hour course. Additionally, we would like to congratulate probationary firefighter Charles Harrington on completing BEFO (Basic Exterior Firefighting Operations). Lastly, we would like to congratulate probationary firefighter Antonio Pagliaro on his graduation from Whitesboro Central School. Congratulations to you all your hard work and dedication have not gone unnoticed.
