The chief administrator of the Police Department is elected by the voters of Walker for a 4 year term. Police Chief David Addison started his first term of office as Chief of Police on January 1, 2017. The depar

tment employs 20 full-time officers, 3 part-time officers and has a Reserve Officer force of 5 officers as well as 4 civilian employees.
