Thank you Warrensburgh Thurman Historical Society for this amazing donation of school supplies for our School Supply Drive!

And thank you to all for the other miscellaneous school supply donations this year!

Pick up day is this Thursday, August 27 from 2-7 PM in the YA Room. We have a printed copy of the WCS supply lists. Homeschooling families are welcome, too.

After August 27, supplies will be moved to the Community Room and available to any families that need them into September - just ask Staff for assistance!

The Richards Library in collaboration with Casandra Wallace of PaperPie, are pleased to share we will be offering a School Supplies Drive collection and pick up in 2026!

***UPDATE AS OF 3:45 PM - The project is completed! Please be mindful when walking on the front lawn. There are a few BIG dents from the heavy equipment.***

The front entrance and part of the front lawn at The Richards Library is currently off limits while our Chimney Cap Restoration Project is underway. The main entrance is free and clear for patrons! We will let you know when the project is finished this week.

The 125th Anniversary Celebration was AMAZING last week, and we want to keep the fun going through to the start of school!

1) There is a raffle for YOUTHS ONLY available at the Circulation Desk. Barnes & Noble Gift Cards ($10) or Stewart's Single Scoop Gift Certificates.

2) The StoryWalk and some lawn games will be outside or available for patrons to set up and play. Just ask Staff for the supplies!
By Main entrance - StoryWalk (We're Going On A Bear Hunt) begins, tic-tac-toe, and small bean bag toss/sticky darts

Our 125th Anniversary Celebration had an amazing turnout! Thank you to all our sponsors, staff, board, and community members for making it such a great day!

There's still time to come in and fill out a "I love my Library because..." Heart to put in our time capsule, and of course to sign up for a Library Card and help us reach our goal of 125 sign ups (you get a sticker too!)

Our 125th Anniversary Celebration is underway! Stop by until 4PM to join in the fun. Come decorate a rock, fill out a heart to go in our time capsule, check out our seed library and get some advice from Linden from Cornell Cooperative Extension. We've got food and refreshments as well!
