This Fibroids Awareness Month, Senator Angela Alsobrooks and I are calling for legislative action. Uterine fibroids affect 70% of women, and the symptoms can be serious, yet funding for research and treatment is lacking. Our U-FIGHT Act creates a grant program to combat fibroids.
