I was grateful to spend this morning at the Oklahoma 9/11 Day Meal Pack, packing meals to support the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma. Together, we packed more than 140,000 meals for those in need. On the 25th anniversary of the September 11th attacks, we remember not only the heartbreak of that day, but also the incredible unity and selflessness Americans showed in the days that followed. It was meaningful to honor their memory through service today.

I was grateful to sit down with Candi Morris and hear her story following the tragic loss of her son due to nitrous oxide misuse and impaired driving. I am proud to cosponsor the Nitrous Oxide Safety Act which seeks to help prevent tragedies like this from happening to other families. The bill would ban the consumer sale of nitrous oxide while protecting legitimate commercial and industrial uses. I also enjoyed speaking on a panel at the Women in Government Relations Annual Conference. We had a lively chat about how we got our start, our paths to Congress, and our legislative focuses. Finally, the CEO of Anheuser-Busch stopped by to discuss the alcohol industry and the issues impacting businesses throughout Oklahoma.
