Basic Science Co-Chair Martina Raunser, PhD, invites you to attend the New Roles of the FGF-23/HIF/Oxygen Axis in Bone Symposium. This session will highlight emerging discoveries that redefine the roles of FGF-23 and hypoxia signaling beyond their classical functions in phosphate regulation and erythropoiesis.

Presenters will discuss how erythroid cells produce FGF-23, how oxygenation within the bone microenvironment supports skeletal homeostasis and fracture repair, and how these pathways influence hematopoietic stem cell function.
