Now Lake Mead is at its lowest water level in history.

I’m working to unleash this 24/7 clean energy source with the Geothermal Energy Advancement Act — the House-passed, six-bill permitting reform package I co-lead with Rep. Jeff Hurd.
 
It includes my:
 
✅STEAM Act: levels the playing field for geothermal with oil and gas.
 
✅ GEO Act: speeds up permit approvals for geothermal projects.
 
The sooner that the Senate is able to send this historic package to the President’s desk, the better!
