I don’t think it’s any big surprise many North Dakota veterans live hours from the care they need. This funding helps bridge the gap and gets veterans to VA and community care appointments to ensure they have reliable access to the care they’ve earned.

The grant was issued through a VA program known as Highly Rural Transportation Grants, which Cramer aims to renew finding for through his Supporting Rural Veterans Access to Healthcare Services Act.

Managing the federal government’s real estate portfolio is an enormous undertaking, and too often our courthouses are at the bottom of the priority list for maintenance, repairs, and upgrades. The Judiciary is a separate part of government and just like Congress, it should not be subservient to Executive branch management.

Our Judicial Space and Facilities Management Effectiveness Act takes the first step in giving the Administrative Office of the U.S. Courts the opportunity to attentively manage judicial branch buildings.

A new bipartisan bill comes after years of complaints from the courts that the General Services Administration is a bad landlord.

I spoke at an American Council for Capital Formation permitting reform event and said without it, our ability to keep pace with our adversaries on everything from AI to defense is jeopardized. Constitutionally, legally, and morally—we should do permitting reform for the sake of our country. We should not be our own stumbling block when it comes to our first Constitutional duty of the defense of the nation.

Here’s what Ducks Unlimited didn’t say:

• They are aligning themselves with a Biden rule sued in federal court by farmers.

• The Biden rule does NOT provide certainty to landowners, it defers completely to bureaucrats in the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.

• They never mentioned the word “farmer” or “private property” because the Biden rule is an affront to both.

• The Biden rule they’re defending dictates the management of farmers’ and landowners’ acreage far beyond what the FWS ever paid for.

• When farmers signed up for these easements decades ago, setbacks weren’t even part of the deal.

The only thing right about this post is "Action is Required." Farmers, ranchers, and landowners who actually feed and fuel the world need to make their voices heard. Make sure the U.S. Department of the Interior fixes the Biden overreach and rewrites this rule in a way that respects private property rights while preserving the wetlands North Dakotans have cherished for generations.

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is reviewing a rule that helps ensure voluntary National Wildlife Refuge System wetland easements in the Prairie Pothole Region are not drained or degraded. For more than 60 years, administrations of both parties have upheld these voluntary easement agreements, protecting habitat that Americans have already paid to conserve.

The Prairie Pothole Region is the "Duck Factory" of North America, producing more than half of the continent's migratory waterfowl and sustaining the hunting traditions we all cherish. For generations, duck hunters, anglers, and conservationists have invested billions of dollars through Duck Stamps, hunting licenses, and other conservation programs to protect these vital wetlands.

The current rule is working. It protects critical waterfowl habitat, provides certainty for landowners through science-based setback plans, and preserves the integrity of conservation easements that have delivered enormous benefits for wildlife and hunters alike.

Weakening these protections could open the door to the drainage of federally protected wetlands at a time when waterfowl populations are already under pressure and hunting opportunities face increasing challenges.

The stakes are simple: No wetlands. No waterfowl. No hunting heritage.
