Today, on this solemn day, please join me in remembering our 2,977 fallen heroes whose lives were stolen from us twenty-five years ago in the wake of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

We remember the bravery and strength of the first responders who ran into danger, the Gold Star families who continue to carry on the legacy of their loved ones, and the heroic Americans, like those aboard Flight 93, who responded to unimaginable circumstances with extraordinary courage and selflessness to protect their fellow Americans.

Twenty-five years ago, we made a promise to never forget. Today, we recommit to that promise and to the shared sense of unity that bonded our nation in the aftermath.

Wrapping up Fair Season on a high note in Juniata County, a community tradition that has been bringing people together since 1854! It was a wonderful evening visiting booths, meeting with local families and thanking the individuals who help make Pennsylvania’s agriculture industry strong and keep our economy moving forward.

Foreign adversaries have leveraged social media personalities with large followings to push propaganda on Americans. This influence is spreading rapidly, especially among our youth, with little oversight or transparency about where this content comes from, who is behind it, and who is funding it.

That’s why I support the Foreign Propaganda Disclosure Act, which requires social media influencers acting on behalf of foreign interests to disclose those relationships.

Americans have a right to know where the information they are consuming originates. This is a national security issue we cannot afford to ignore.

Across the country, we sit on a wealth of resources that remain untapped. Instead, we give that advantage to other countries, strengthening their economies and making America dependent on foreign supply chains.

To truly achieve Made in America, we first need to Mine in America.

Today, I voted to permanently allow mining projects access to streamlined permitting and review processes, while maintaining full compliance with federal environmental standards. H.R. 1501 gives American manufacturers all of the resources they need to build here at home.
