My wife Shelley and I, my entire family and many, many friends throughout Pennsylvania are deeply saddened by the passing of Maria Diesel. Maria was a close, trusted friend who dedicated her career to helping others and serving causes she believed in. Maria’s positive energy will be so sorrowfully missed. More importantly, she was a kind, generous, and holy person whose warmth and unwavering commitment to others left a lasting impact on everyone who knew her. She will be deeply missed by our family, our entire team, and the many lives she touched, and we extend our heartfelt prayers to her loved ones during this difficult time. We loved Maria and may she rest in peace.

I had a great time today at the Lebanon County Fair, one of Central Pennsylvania’s oldest celebrations of our farming heritage.

While it’s always great to see families enjoying the rides, food, and entertainment, what stands out most is the opportunity to celebrate Pennsylvania agriculture and the hardworking farmers and producers who help keep our Commonwealth strong.

Big thanks to Mike Firestine for joining me on the fairgrounds to chat with a few old friends and meet some new ones.

Last evening, I had a great time at the Schuylkill County Fair, taking part in the annual Celebrity Tractor Pull. It was a pleasure to be joined by Schuylkill County Commissioners Larry Padora and Boots Hetherington, Sheriff Shawn Butler, and Pottsville Mayor Tom Smith.

A sincere thank you to the Schuylkill County Fair Association and especially President Paul Kennedy, for putting together another outstanding fair. Year after year, this event showcases the very best of Schuylkill County’s agricultural community and the hardworking families who make it so special. It’s a tradition we’re proud to celebrate, and I always enjoy being a part of it.

Dr. Fauci didn’t answer a single question in today’s Senate Homeland Security Committee hearing because he knows he can't tell the truth. He knows that he engaged in disinformation and misled the American people.

It took a subpoena issued by the Senate Homeland Security Committee to get him to even appear.
