Join the Waukegan Performing Arts Company (Wauk-PAC) as more than 50 District 60 students from eight elementary schools and five middle schools bring this beloved musical to life.

The Waukegan Public Schools Back-to-School Resource Fair returns on Saturday, July 25, and this year will be our largest event yet!

Join us from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at our new location, McCall Elementary School and Bevier Park, for free backpacks and school supplies, community resources, food trucks, a petting zoo, children's activities, haircuts, and more.

Save the date! Waukegan Public Schools is hosting the 2026 Back 2 School Resource Fair on Saturday, July 25, from 11 AM to 3 PM at McCall Elementary School and Bevier Park. This free community event helps District 60 families get ready for the new school year with resources, fun, and support all in one place.

Enjoy free backpacks and school supplies, plus food trucks, kids’ activities, a 3v3 basketball tournament, a Police vs. Firefighter softball game, live DJ entertainment, and on-site services like haircuts and braids.

🎉 A district-wide accomplishment!

All 24 school sites were recognized for PBIS implementation during the 2025-26 school year by the Midwest PBIS Network. Most of our schools also earned Storytelling and Action Planning badges for their efforts to share their PBIS journey and use data to drive continuous improvement.

PBIS is a multi-tiered framework that helps schools promote positive student behavior and social-emotional growth.
