JOB CENTER professionals provide a broad array of career guidance services that are tailored to your particular needs. The center offers a variety of services for job seekers, including: career counseling, education and job-training guidance, financial aid for education and training, personalized career plans, unemployment insurance services, America's Job Bank, and other Internet job listings and

referrals to partner organizations. In addition to expert guidance, you can also use the JOB CENTER as you explore career opportunities. We provide free access to computers, printers, fax machines and copiers to help you communicate your interest to potential employers. Auxiliary aids and services are available upon request to persons with disabilites. In general, the content posted here will be limited to matters related to Lake County government. Lake County government deals with a broad but not limitless array of issues. The County’s business relates to the public at large, and comments should reflect matters of public concern, not matters that are personal or private in nature.

A Work, Earn, and Learn (WEL) Program is a workforce development initiative offered
through partnerships between Lake County Workforce Development and participating
employers throughout Lake County. One such partnership, with Grayslake Community
High School District 127, offered Monika a full-time, paid opportunity to gain valuable
work experience in a public-school environment while expanding her workplace skills
