What an incredible turnout today! Thank you so much to everyone who joined us for the Eddie Washington Center Open House. It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces and welcome new friends to our community. ❤️

Guests had the opportunity to tour our newly renovated transitional housing facility for men and connect with one another. EWC is more than just a housing facility; it’s a place of stability, growth, and hope. We loved showing everyone the warm, supportive environment our men call home while they work hard to get back on their feet. 🏠✨

📢 COMMUNITY ANNOUNCEMENT: Homeless Prevention Program Re-opening July 1st 📢

Waukegan Township, in collaboration with the Lake County Coalition for the Homeless, is here to provide a helping hand to our neighbors. Starting July 1, 2026, we are reopening the Homeless Prevention program to assist Lake County residents in securing and maintaining stable housing.

If you are facing difficulties or falling behind, you may qualify for financial assistance with:
🏠 Past-due rent or mortgage payments
⚡ Utility bills
🔑 Security deposits
