In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, the Lake County Clerk’s Office, Mano a Mano Family Resource Center, and Office of Lake County State's Attorney Eric Rinehart came together to host Nuestro Lake County – a celebration of the rich Hispanic and Latino cultures that strengthen our community. The event included community resources, an incredible Rebelion Cultural performance, and an exciting K9 demonstration by the Lake County IL Sheriff's Office .
The Illinois Secretary of State’s mobile DMV was also on site and provided services to 45 residents.
A special thank you to the Mundelein Park & Recreation District for hosting us and helping make the event possible, and to everyone who joined us despite the rainy morning!

En honor al Mes de la Herencia Hispana, la Oficina del Secretario del Condado de Lake, Mano a Mano y la Oficina del Fiscal del Estado se unieron para organizar Nuestro Lake County, una celebración de las culturas hispana y latina de todos los orígenes que fortalecen nuestra comunidad. El evento incluyó recursos comunitarios, una increíble presentación de Ballet Folklórico y una emocionante demostración canina (K9) a cargo de la Oficina del Sheriff del Condado de Lake.
La oficina móvil de licencias de conducir (DMV) de la Secretaría de Estado de Illinois también estuvo presente y brindó servicios a 45 residentes.
Un agradecimiento especial al Distrito de Parques y Recreación de Mundelein por recibirnos y ayudarnos a hacer posible el evento, y a todos los que se unieron a nosotros a pesar de la lluviosa mañana.
