Explore Carroll County Parks and WIN Hersheypark Tickets!

July is Parks & Recreation Month, and we're celebrating with the FREE Park Pursuit Challenge!

Gather your family and friends and visit parks throughout Carroll County as you complete fun activities, answer trivia questions, and discover everything our parks have to offer. It's a great way to get outside, stay active, and explore new places all month long!

There will be weekly drawings throughout July for family four-packs of Hersheypark tickets! Be sure to submit your completed booklet each week for a chance to win.

Ready to race, climb, and conquer?

Join Carroll County Recreation and Parks for the Youth Challenge Course Race on Wednesday, July 29, from 5:30–7:00 p.m. at Freedom Park!

Test your agility, strength, and speed as you tackle the Freedom Park Challenge Course and race to the finish. Open to all skill levels, participants will compete one at a time in age-based divisions, with the fastest times earning championship medals!

After the races, cool off with a sweet treat and celebrate an exciting summer evening in the park with friends and family.

Looking to connect with new friends and enjoy a fun-filled morning of creativity? Join us for the Summer Friendship Social at Sandymount Park!

Rising 5th–8th graders will enjoy:
Creating beaded friendship bracelets
Trying diamond art
Cooling off with popsicles
Participating in a Blind Bag Exchange

Bring a small blind box or mystery bag item to trade with another participant! Fun options can often be found at stores like Five Below or similar shops.
