Welcome back to another Creature Feature Friday! Eastern black rat snakes can reach up to 8 feet long, and can be found in all sorts of areas. They have a varied diet of rodents and small prey, including frogs, birds and eggs! They love to climb, and can be found high up in trees and even in attic spaces. These guys are actually brethren with their friend the corn snake! While the corn snake is a smaller kind of rat snake, they both play a huge role in their ecosystems as nature's pest control! Let's go snakes!
