The Carroll County Health Department is partnering with the Carroll County Sheriff's Office and the Carroll County Government’s Bureau of Solid Waste to host a Community Disposal Event on Saturday, October 17th, 2026, from 8 am- 12pm at 1250 Old Meadow Branch Road, Westminster.

These Take Back events are important as proper medication disposal protects the health and well-being of children, pets and our environment. They also prevent accidental poisonings, overdose, medicine theft, misuse, and su***de.

This event will provide an opportunity for community members to safely dispose of unused or expired medications, sharps (e.g., needles, syringes), household hazardous waste, and documents for secure shredding.
