Risk-Limiting Audit

Monday, July 20, 2026 at 9 a.m.

The Carroll County Board of Elections will conduct the risk-limiting audit of the 2026 Gubernatorial Primary Election.

This audit may take two days and will take place at the Carroll County Board of Elections, located at 1135 Business Parkway South, Suite 60, Westminster, MD. The audit is open to the public. Members of the public must follow the Rules of Conduct for Post-Election Audit Observers and elections officials’ directions while observing the risk-limiting audit.

Mail-in Ballot Canvass 2

Monday, July 6, 2026 at 10 a.m.

1135 Business Parkway South, Suite 60

The Board of Canvassers for Carroll County will conduct the final mail-in ballot canvass for the 2026 Gubernatorial Primary Election. When the canvass is complete, the election will be certified.

Mail-in Ballot Canvass 2

Monday, July 6, 2026 at 10 a.m.

Westminster, MD 21157

At the conclusion of the regularly scheduled canvass, a new canvass will occur for the original ballots where the original ballot was the only ballot voted for the voter. This new canvass is the result of the mail-in ballot printing error that occurred in May.

The Board of Canvassers for Carroll County will begin the process of opening, reviewing, and scanning the provisional ballots we have received for the 2026 Gubernatorial Primary Election. Results will not be available until the election is certified.
