Community Impact Coalition Community Impact Coalition is a community supported substance use prevention initiative. It is open to all those who live and work in Ohio County WV.

The Community Imapact Coalition is a local substance abuse prevention coalition. We seek partnership from all community members. We especially seek representatives from youth, parents, schools, law enforcement, media, volunteer/civic groups, business, healthcare, faith-based, youth serving, other prevention & government sectors.

YSS is partnering with Sleep in Heavenly Peace - WV, Monongalia Co to provide beds to 30 children ages 3-17 in the greater Wheeling area who are sleeping in unsafe or unwanted conditions, including on floors, sofas or sharing a bed with parents or siblings.

The beds will be built on Aug. 29 and provided to children in our community who need a safe, comfortable place to sleep.

Families can apply online for a free bed at https://shpbeds.org/chapter/wv-monongalia-co/

Agencies and caseworkers can also submit an application on behalf of their clients.

SHP says it best, "No kids sleep on the floor in our town."

We attended so many great sessions that we are excited to share with our Coalitions! 💚

Our Prevention Team is excited to be attending the CADCA Mid-Year Training Institute! 🎉

We're looking forward to connecting with prevention professionals from across the country, expanding our knowledge, and bringing back new ideas and strategies to strengthen our work in the communities we serve.
