A Few Reminders Before Parent-Teacher Conferences!

Conference Times: Conferences will be held Tuesday after school until 7:00 p.m. and Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. These are long days for our teachers, so if you're able, feel free to bring a small treat to show your child's teacher some appreciation!

Still Need to Schedule? If you haven't scheduled your conference yet, please sign up through ParentSquare or call the office at 316-554-0704. WeI'll be happy to help you find a time.

Pumpkin Contest: If your child brought a pumpkin for the decorating contest, you may take it home when you come for conferences.

3D-Printed Creations: Mrs. Nolan will be selling 3D-printed items in the atrium during conferences! Smaller items start at just 50 cents, and the larger dragons are $30, so there's something for everyone. Best of all, proceeds go right back to the STEAM classroom to purchase materials and supplies for student learning!

Don't hesitate to call us at 316-554-0704 if you have any questions. We're happy to help!

We look forward to seeing you at conferences and partnering with you to support your child's success!

It's Pumpkin Contest Time at Oaklawn!

On Monday, students are encouraged to bring a carved, painted, or decorated pumpkin for our annual pumpkin decorating contest!

Last year, we were so impressed with your creativity, and we can't wait to see what you come up with this year! Please remember to keep pumpkins school-appropriate and avoid anything gory.

Judging will take place Tuesday, October 27. You can take your pumpkin home when you come to parent-teacher conferences on October 27 or 29.

We hope you have fun picking out your pumpkin and getting creative together as a family. We can't wait to see your amazing creations!
