🚌 McVay Bus Parking Change & Doors for Dismissal Pickup

McVay families, buses have a NEW parking location this school year!

Buses will park in the designated inlet along 5th Street E on the north side of McVay Elementary.

This is a change from previous years. Buses will no longer park along University Avenue in front of the school.

Please do not park🚫 in the designated bus parking area along 5th Street E.

Check out the map so you know where buses will be located for arrival and dismissal.

Door 3 - Kindergarten
Door 4 - 1st Grade
Door 6 - Bus Students
Door 7 - 5th Grade
Door 8 - 3rd Grade
Door 9 - 2nd Grade
Door 1 - Students not picked up by 3:30 will be sent to Door 1

All staff will help supervise dismissal to ensure safety.

We ask that parents arrive on-time for pick-up to ensure a smooth dismissal.

We know it's a little early, but we wanted to share this information now so you can plan ahead. Our Back-to-School Open Houses are a great opportunity to meet teachers, see classrooms, and get ready for a successful school year. 🌟

Get ready for the new school year by checking your student's school supply list. To make things as convenient as possible, supply lists are available in three easy-to-use formats:

Families are responsible for providing the school supplies outlined on the lists. However, we understand that some families may need assistance. The district receives limited donations for distribution, and several community organizations host events throughout the summer to help provide school supplies.
