Meet Nyla 💛
She’s been part of KID since preschool, and today she’s thriving in our aftercare program!

From playground days in preschool to Tennis Tuesday🎾 and afternoons spent with friends, KID has been part of her journey every step of the way.

What she loves most?
The friendships she’s built with other kids and being part of a community where she feels supported.

And her dreams are just getting started. Nyla wants to become a teacher or a scientist one day. 📚🔬

We started as a shelter, but have grown beyond it.
Today, KID is a prevention-focused organization that supports thousands of children and families across South Florida each year.

Do you have or know a child who can benefit from a program like this?

Tennis Tuesday Program provides children who have never been exposed to tennis the opportunity to learn the joys of the game. Children are guided in enhancing their confidence, self-esteem, concentration, and team-building skills while learning the fundamentals of tennis. Most of the children in the program come from low-income families and would not otherwise have the opportunity to join a tennis club.

What a day. 🦆💛

From the Kids Dance Off to the halftime show, parade, and the moment thousands of ducks hit the water… the energy at Duckfest Derby was unmatched.

But beyond the fun, this day is about showing up for kids and families who need it most. And Fort Lauderdale really showed up 👏

Grateful to be part of something that blends community, impact, and a whole lot of fun.
