How is HelpSticker different from any other sticker? HelpStickers are designed with proprietary adhesives and materials to work specifically with their intended applications. Most laser sheeted labels that are used to print “Visitor” and “Hello My Name is” sticker’s peel up, curl and eventually fall in a very short period of time. HelpStickers are designed to stay affixed to the materials they are
applied to until the individual decides to take them off. In addition, they will not leave adhesive residue causing stains or damage to their intended application materials. The story behind the creation of HelpSticker
-The child that went missing at the Atlanta Zoo and his mother’s response…. I’ll never forget the day we took our family to the Atlanta Zoo in 2013. We were standing by the Kangaroo pin when a scream of sheer terror let out. It was a scream I will never forget. My first thought was that an animal is loose! The lady began screaming uncontrollably getting louder and louder and eventually we could finally make out her child’s name in the frantic screams. After ten minutes she was finally calm enough to communicate with the park staff and after about twenty-five long minutes, she was finally reunited with her child. It was absolutely heartbreaking to watch this unfold. I could not imagine how much more frightening this could have been if it were to have happened at a park as large and as busy as a Walt Disney theme park. Later that summer I packed up my family for vacation and headed to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. Before even getting out at our resort, I immediately pulled out the HelpStickers I specifically made for this vacation and started to make billboards out of my children’s t-shirts with the cell phone numbers for my wife and me. Middle way through our vacation I couldn’t keep count anymore of all the people that had asked us where they could buy those stickers for their children. After our day at the parks I returned to the resort thought of a name to call the stickers and HelpSticker was born.
